Comment:  Kappa Kappa Gamma is, to put it bluntly, an institution focused on a compelling but artificial perfection the surface, and is toxic and mean beneath that plastic exterior. And you can see this in the way that the "sisterhood" affects the characters of its members during their time in the house. I myself didn't see until after recruitment. But of my friends who went Kappa, so many of them have changed for the worse and become shallow and narcissistic. It's really very sad to see, and I wish freshmen women could see it before they make the mistake of pledging to that house. If I had to give freshmen rushing one word of wisdom, I would urge them to ignore the appearance of the house, but look hard into the character and reputation of its members.
