Comment:  The Iota Chi chapter of Alpha Phi at Yale has basically no money because it's literally brand new. It's just a lot of the girls IN it are rich. Theta has a huge endowment. Therefore the Epsilon Tau chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta at Yale is a WELL-ENDOWED sorority, whereas APhi has like no endowment. It's literally 3 years old. APhi just has a reputation for attracting rich girls in their pledge classes. Theta does too, but the difference is that Theta has an endowment and APhi doesn't. That's why the girls' dues were so high. THEY paid for the house renovations. If Theta wanted to renovate their house they'd just have to dip into their endowment.
