Comment:  As an AST I can tell you our first year on campus has been stressful, BUT it's been worth it. I gained a lot of awesome leadership skills and teamwork skills. Plus, now that we have a better understanding of what we are doing we can better focus on maintaining our values and supporting each other. It's really a unique experience being in such a new organization, because we have a wide variety of girls with different interests and majors allowing me to meet a lot of amazing women I wouldn't have gotten to meet otherwise. I know that once I graduate I'll have a ton of great connections both from my chapter and nationally from other chapters. I can't wait to see what this new year will bring :)
