Comment:  Hasn't been good in a long time. The only thing keeping them relevant is that they have pretty strong relations with Kappa. Strictly speaking, as a fraternity in and of itself, Beta is more on a level playing field with chapters like Kappa Sig or Sigma Nu. Factor in their sorority relations and maybe you could put them up there with Pike, but I don't see a single reason why anyone could ever justifiably call Beta a top tier fraternity here
