Comment:  While it is true that the girls themselves are not any prettier, smarter, wealthier or better than any other girl in any other group, they are in high demand because they take about 90% legacy based girls. Since more than half of the girls that come through rush are KD legacies, it is an honor to be selected and causes great degrees of sadness when not (there's no way they can take all their legacies and that means all those great girls pledge other groups and start their own legacies elsewhere
