Comment:  A few years ago I rushed and pledged for this frat. I gave it a 100% during rush and pledging as long as it wasn't going to effect my grades. Long story short I got cut 3 weeks into pledging and 2 days after I gave them a rush dues check. Wasn't ever given a reason for being dismissed but they were happy to take my money. Looking back on the experience I'm glad I wasn't accepted into a organization that didn't want me and cared more about making money.
