Comment:  Fiji came on when the expansion of the fraternities at Long Beach where the expansion proceeded too rapidly. One fraternity a year didn't give the opportunity for a new group to really grow and become a solid group. I think this really hurt Fiji and Phi Psi. Sigma Chi was the last group on and it even took them longer that usual to obtain their charter. They didn't well last FALL and hopefully they will have a better FALL RUSH this year!
