Comment:  We do have to take some girls, but the good far outweigh the bad. When you have really good girls, taking some that aren't up to that level just balances out the group. All the sororities are like that to some degree. Being a legacy from a mother who went to college at that specific school and who has worked hard with the chapter should get some compensation in the form of pledging her daughter. Not all legacies get that privilege, but it does pay for the mom to be a strong alumni.
