You sound like a bitter old lady whose daughter didn't get her top choice. Theta didn't NEED 195 new members--they wanted them. They are not suffering. No sorority at Alabama is "suffering." You need to pull your head out of your ass and come back down to earth. Why do you care so much what your "friend" thinks of her new sorority? She can drop if she's that unhappy, but I can guarantee you she'll be happier as a Theta than as a GDI. Theta is a great house with a reputation for having a strong sisterhood, behind involved and good grades. Your "friend" will see that soon enough. There's over 400 girls in the sorority--not everyone is going to look like a top model, and if you're expecting that, then your "friend" is in a sorority for the wrong reason. It's not all about looks and being the top house, you know.
