The same reason anyone does anything- our National Board :P Basically our "Founding Mothers" are referred to as our Founders :) The idea that you've put 9 months to 2 years of work into creating a colony, completing tasks, being pinned, and then more tasks before you're even a sister kind of turns the chapter into your baby, so Founding Mothers :) Might change with our new National Board, but that's just how it's been the last 26 years!
