So sorry for your experience, but you are not an alum if you dropped. And like any other environment you get what you put into it. Some girls are naturally social. But I know girls in that house, some introverts too, that aren’t in a clique and are very happy with ΑΓΔ. And every sorority has different cliques within. . And living in usually helps you find your people. But the sorority experience is (should be) about more than fitting in with the cliques. Sounds like you would have had even a harder struggle in other groups, especially Pi Phi ( who are great, but the cliques exist in every sorority ). If you didn’t initiate I would suggest you give it another chance via COB with a different group, even as an older student. The sorority experience is worth it, but you have to engage. Go to everything. And even if you don’t fit into a clique you still have the sorority and then alum experience to share with individuals you meet as you go forward in life. It’s for more than four years.
