Their sisterhood sucks, major retention issues. They lose tons of women every year. Take a pledge class and track it for three years. See who actually makes it to graduation from a pledge class. Granted, what they do works for them and I don't think they are a bad chapter. They just appeal to certain girls and they play to that.
