Well. I was surprised to see all the negative comments. I personally never cared about "tier" but according to this ranking system, Alpha Xi isn't "bottom." I joined Alpha Xi because I genuinely liked most of the girls and for the friendships. It wasn't about appearances or being "Greek" for me. Or about meeting guys.I had the same BF all through college. And he wasn't Greek. Tho he very unceramoniously dumped me for someone else soon after we graduated,LOL. A lot of my college friends weren't Greek. But I have so many fun memories of living in the sorority house; popcorn parties in our rooms, eating together, studying together, jogging together, laughing and crying together. The house has been remodeled, but I can see the window to "my room" in the photographs today. Greek life definitely isn't for everyone and that's OK. No one should feel pressured to rush or try and belong where it doesn't feel right. I could have been just as happy if I had met a bunch of friends and moved into a co-op or any other group. What's important is that you listen to your instincs, go with your instincts and find out wherever you "fit." That's going to be really important all through out life. I wish I knew then just how important it is to really listen to our instincts. We have them for a reason. If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck. \n\n\n\n\n
