I agree with the downhill comment but wanted to add that if a group starts to believe that they are better than the rest of their panhel community then issues will develop. We have past experience in our panhel with houses that believe they are better than their national or better than their panhel and that rules are for other houses to follow. I would suggest that the ladies of kappa take a look in the mirror and see which path they are walking down regarding how they are perceived in the community. From where I sit I see more similarities between kappa and theta than not and this has me concerned for their future. The theta slide didn't happen overnight but was something that was the result of a whole series of decisions about who was brought into the house and who house leaders were. I hope the ladies of kappa don't make the same choices as the departed thetas but from where I sit it seems they are heading in that direction. Diversity is important and I also believe that unlike in the past that kappa respected diversity but now it has become less diverse and frankly in terms of makeup very similar to old theta.
