I went through preference night with DZ a few years ago and they did ask me this. My girl asked me questions along the lines of “Who are you running home to tomorrow,” “Do you know who you’re choosing,” and “You can tell me who you want to run to tomorrow.” It made me very uncomfortable and this is the main reason why I didn’t choose them.
