I'm close with lots of kappas, and I have to disagree. Whenever I talk to them they are genuine, caring, and funny. All of the above is someone's opinion just like this comment is, and that's 100% okay, but I can assure you that I could never imagine anyone in any sorority at Whitman (not just Kappa) judging based on appearance--that's wrong, hurtful, and a horrible thing to do. If you're looking for info on the Whitman sororities places like this are not going to help you much because everyone here is just posting an opinion, often a strong one, and not necessarily what you would believe if you experienced the group yourself. I would suggest going through recruitment and trying to meet the girls in each group and, if you go greek, choosing whichever fits the best, and if you don't, recognizing that you got a chance to meet a lot of new people and that greek life just isn't for you.
