I'm so sorry you feel this way and it makes me very sad that you would accuse such harsh things of your new sisters. :( As stated at pledging when you received your Phi PIn, "... we entrust to you this shield, which symbolizes our protection to you. Upon it is the Greek letter Phi, the first letter of the Greek word Famezo, which means “promise.” So by having the name phi, you have been given our protection and we have been given your promise. It is a national title that gives you Phi Mu's protection and support. I hope you intend to give us a fighting chance because we love you, we want to protect you, and we want you to be apart of our sisterhood. You were given a bid for a reason and we see potential in you that you don't even see in yourself yet! If you're feeling uncomfortable or have questions about our sisterhood or any aspect of Phi Mu I encourage you to reach out and talk to someone.
