They are many posts on here saying that they rush based off of looks and how rich you are and they don’t care about GPA’s. This is not true for ANY house. 1. We all go to Purdue. No matter what program you are in, Purdue is not the easiest of schools to get into so no one is intellectually dumb. All sororities have GPA requirements which members have to meet or they will be kicked out (a Purdue rule). 2. Despite rumors, absolutely no house asks PNM’s during rush about their parents income. This has been a rumor going around before you were even born about the “top tier” houses at all universities. Rush is highly monitored by the Panhellenic association and the “Nationals” for each sorority. If they broke a rule that often, they’d definitely be facing consequences and would be in trouble for that. Also if PNM’s were frequently being asked by A Phi and Kappa what their parents income is then they would have reported it/told their Gamma Chi during rush. Which has not happened because both A Phi and Kappa are not in trouble and have not faced any consequences for rush related stuff. Don’t believe the lies PNM’s!! Other girls are just trying to tear down houses they are “threatened” by when instead we should be lifting eachother up and supporting one another especially during this weird rush year.
