I am a Penn State graduate who was lucky enoguh to attend all four years at University Park.I have never donated to my alma mater and won't because I believe Penn State has never bothered to be fiscally disciplined, merely raising tuition by more than the rate of inflation year after year balancing their budget on the backs of its students. While I don't like seeing cuts to higher education funding, frankly, I'm glad Penn State will finally have to take a hard look at how it spends money and what is really important to deliver a quality college education.
