I can't speak specifically to DG's dues, but as a member of the community, I can say that it's common that housing costs make up the largest portion of dues and fees. Sorority women cannot live in their homes at OWU, so is it a wise way to use funds...especially on a private campus with small memberships and high tuition bills? I would watch closely as other houses might be making the same choice and decide to take the burden of housing costs off of members. Members can hold events and hang out anywhere- a physical house doesn't make/break the chapter.
