Honestly this is so true for sororities in general- so many people make stereotypes that sororities only care about how they look on social media, that they’re vain, or vapid, but in reality social media is something where you want to show yourself at your best. I also hate how there’s a false dichotomy between being a “pretty/ popular” sorority or being a “nice/ genuine” sorority. You can be pretty AND smart, they aren’t mutually exclusive things. It’s always sad when people reduce sororities to a ranking of attractiveness anyways because they all raise so much money and they all do so much for the community- yet all some people can do is judge based on looks.
