You dropped them or did they drop you? sounds like the latter. Having graduated from another school many years ago and being a DG and having a daughter at UF who chose not to be involved with Greek Life (she told me she didn't need to buy her friends -ugghhh that hurt) I think you need to look at life. Sororities are a microcosm of the real work....get used to it!!!!
