Unfortunately I can understand why you got that vibe, I felt it too, but then I actually spoke to some and Spring is the most hectic quarter for everyone considering graduation is around that quarter. Many of the girls I met were close to or were graduating so they didn't really have time to focus on anything besides their studies. Of course they were in a bad mood because they may be panicking about maybe failing a class right before they're supposed to be graduating, worrying about their GPA not being enough for grad school, and also many of the girls I spoke to in AST don't by any means live close to campus. The ones that do are living in the dorms and they have to find a place near by if they plan on working on campus over the summer or taking extra classes. Sometimes you have to look at the whole picture before making assumptions, heck even I get in a bad mood during spring and I don't even have those kinds of worries yet.
