Girls get invited back to parties they don't want to be at every year, happened to me during recruitment, it happens to everyone and in every chapter. Maybe you know a few people who didn't enjoy SDT parties and got invited back when they didn't want to be. But that doesn't correlate to SDT "struggling", it means your friends weren't a fit for the chapter and the chapter didn't fit them. From the sounds of it they found chapters they felt comfortable in, which is what all BU chapters want for all PNM's.
