Whenever a chapter is colonizing, upper management runs the chapter for a period of time to help the chapter get its feet on off the ground. Now, ZTA is run by their Exec council aided by their leadership consultants who periodically come and go throughout the year. You always have a say in any chapter if you gain the courage to speak your mind. If you did not want the experience of being in a brand new chapter and wanted a more traditional experience, you should have reconsidered joining ZTA. I have many friends in ZTA who were yes, frustrated with how slow the process was but are glad they stuck with it because this year has been a blast for them.
