Hi there! ASA member here. Yes, we did call in alumni to help with recruitment, since we were low on numbers. No, I don't believe any sisters were prevented from recruiting by national headquarters. I don't really think we're shady; you could probably ask any of us and we'd be pretty honest about what's going on in our chapter.
