At the 150th anniversary celebration in 2017, there were 140 active collegiate chapters. Since that time, NINE chapters have closed...Eastern Kentucky University, Villanova University, Illinois State University, University of Tampa, Washington University STL., Northwestern university, Willamette University, George Mason University and most recently Yale University. Only 2 chapters have be established during the past six years and 1 re-chartered. West Virginia Chapter is not the only chapter in danger of being closed due to low membership with others being Birmingham-Southern College and University of Richmond.
