There is always discussion about the "top@ sororities on campus. So what makes a sorority "tops"? My ideal top sorority CONSISTENTLY has outstanding grades (maybe not always the highest GPA but close to it), member leadership in a wide variety of campus organizations, strong involvement in SA (including consistent representation on SA Exec. It also has yearly representation on HOCO (with an occasional HOCO Queen), wins a top honor every couple of years (Miss MSU or Miss Mississippi State University), and always places in campus competitions such as Derby Days, Charity Bowl, Limelight with a win at one of these every other year. Being respected on campus is crucial as is retention of members. That being said, I am not going to list the sororities I think fit this at MSU. All 8 groups have tons to offer and are loved by their members who share strong sisterhoods.
