If it's true that some groups CHOOSE not to take their quota of upperclassmen, then why do they take their quota of freshmen? Why one group but not the other? Sounds like to me that some groups are just having a hard time with this new upperclassman quota and are trying to spin it so that they don't come off looking bad. I can see how they'd prefer to do that than just admit they screwed up and didn't get qutoa. But, regardless, why would it be okay to take a full quota of freshmen, but TERRIBLE to take a full quota of upperclassmen? On a campus as large and wonderful as MSU, I'm quite sure that the upperclassman pool is highly stocked with great women!
