If you ask any NPC delegate or someone else in the "know" with regard to historical significance, they'll tell you that the sororities which have been the most influential and nationally strong are: Kappa Alpha Theta, Delta Gamma, Kappa Kappa Gamma, and Pi Beta Phi. MSU has DG and Pi Phi. But, DG is the only one who lives up to the national reputation at this time. Chi Omega is strong in the south, but anywhere about TN/KY and they're not nearly what the southern standard would have you believe. Actually, they are currently struggling in almost every area of the country but the south. Not sure if it's a leadership issue nationally or what's going on, but their star is not on the rise anymore.
