It is my understanding that DG is given the opportunity each year to participate with the other groups. DG sees it as block voting and everyone working against them. The other 7 groups see it as a way of working together and having a more inclusive homecoming court. I wish the University would take control and allow each group to run only ONE or maybe TWO members for the court or Queen and have the athletes pick one maid for each class. A court like that would be representative of the student body as a whole.
