Greekrank is a disreputable gossip site that relies on sensationalism to generate income. It is not affiliated with any Greek organizations or any schools but is a business enterprise created by an Indian guy who went to virginia tech who lives in chicago and registers the company in florida. Greekrank makes money for the owner/investors through the sale of the ads on here. The more traffic and clicks means the more appealing the site is to advertisers. The more controversial gossip and nasty posts with nasty comments on here, the higher the traffic and clicks = more ad sales. Anyone with internet access can post on here and say anything they want, no matter how vile or untrue; Greek org membership or college affiliation is not required, anyone is encouraged to post and comment. Nothing is moderated and the rules don't matter, they are completely ignored because lies, gossip, rudeness, and internet road rage is good for business. It is about $$$ and only about $$$. Let's see if they take this post down.
