For any pnm reading this: If you or your parents don't have $6k to pay for sorority dues, fees, and fun extras please don't go through recruitment "just to see" because you are likely taking a spot in a house away from another girl. You can make a ton of new friends and get involved through clubs and intramurals. Now is the time to have a serious conversation with your parents. Being in a sorority is one of the best things I've ever done in college, but it's not for everyone.
