If it all started in the fall, then she likely accepted a snap bid, then dropped, then either went through COB or spring rush. That is the only way someone who went through formal recruitment in the fall could accept a bid in the fall, drop, then be initiated into a different sorority. I am glad it worked out for her but to all the pnms reading these posts.... please understand that it is very rare and the majority of girls (95% or more) join the sorority they originally accept a bid from.
