So I am a current senior and some of my older friends went through recruitment a few months ago but what one in particular told me doesn't make sense. She said social resumes barely make a difference and it's mainly based on a girl's vibe and if the recruitment team thinks she will be a good match. But how will they know if she is a good match if they don't know her background, what her interests are, the things she's been involved with? You know the stuff I'm supposed to list on my social resume. I'm so confused. I'm coming from out of region so obviously the houses won't have actives from my hometown and they won't know my story except from my social resume and when they meet me. Not that a 10 minute convo will give much insight since they aren't exactly deep. So my question is, do houses really not bother with what is sent in? And does that mean I'll be coming in with a lot less "points" than in state and in region girls?
