Don’t blame this site for all the negativity of greek life. Greek life has become a popularity contest. Do looks matter when selecting pnms at most universities? YES!! If you look at most universities you’ll see the hot girls and hot guys dominating the top sororities and frats. That’s just reality! Do most girls strive to be in a top sorority? YES!! Most girls will always pref the top sorority over a lower tiered one at a university because Greek life has created such a vain and toxic environment. Sad thing is it makes girls feel inadequate and not worthy if they don’t get in a top sorority. Advice for pnms. Go through rush. If you feel it’s for you, go for it. Some girls really like being in a sorority. But don’t join if your only goal is to be in a top sorority or just to buy friends or so you have something cool to post on social media. And once you’re in a sorority, don’t think the drama ends there. There will always be cliques there too. Just like high school.
