Well, three of my first cousins graduated from Ole Miss in the past 8 years, one was KD, one DG and the other Phi Mu. So I have connections there too. I am not trying to be rude either, but what you say might have some truth to it, but so does mine. My KD cousin said they lost out on so many out of state girls because they did not know them and didn't have girls pushing for them from their high schools. The girls that come from the Atlanta, GA area, for example, come from high schools with 700-900 graduates. Those girls do not come to college with a resume that say they were elected, selected or were in every single popular activity in high school because the competition is so great. I know a girl from an Atlanta area school that had over 800 graduate with her and the school she went to is a top 10% ranked public high school in the nation. These girls from some of these big schools do activities in high school we have never heard of before. And I can tell you also from first hand knowledge that MSU is recruiting these high school students out of state hard. Do you ever wonder why we have so many out of state students??? I am just stating that one of the considerations of Ole Miss was to move rush back was because the out of state girls were getting passed over because they were not known. I think that some of us girls in the top sororities should take a look at maybe how smart ZTA and DDD are thinking about their recruitment with out of state girls going forward.
