The problem with sigma chi is that it is more of a social club than a fraternity. A social club judges the guys in it. The brotherhood that they offer has conditions attached to it. Instead of developing a guys individual personality to enrich it, they want the guy to change who he is into what they say he should be. Any deviation from that and a guy is judged unloveable or undesirable. A real fraternity takes the individual guy as he is and allows him to be himself and mature naturally into the man he can be. So I guess it’s robots vs. natural progression.
