A chapter who does not make quota during formal recruitment can issue snap bids up to quota. My understanding is that all chapters made quota (at least on paper) this year. However, this does not account for girls who get bids and then do not accept them. So, there could still be some snap bids to quota. ADDITIONALLY... ANY chapter who is not at chapter total (as set by Greek life) after Bid Day (regardless of whether or not they made quota) can issue snap bids. So, the groups who have girls decline bids or who lose lots of members during the year usually do give out snap bids. THAT is the REAL info!
