I will be coming through recruitment this year and have a question that I hope someone can answer for me. I saw the post about new houses and renovations/additions to houses. My question is about the dues. If a sorority is building a new house or making improvements, does that greatly increase the cost of their dues? I would think it does, but I don't know how all that works. Please don't say that if you pledge a sorority you should have enough money that it doesn't matter because I have friends from my high school that pledged last year and they are paying part of their dues. So, I know that's not true. My parents will be paying my dues, but I feel responsible to keep them as reasonable as possible. I've talked to other people that have the same concern so any information you can give me will be most appreciated. Thank you.
