That’s a ridiculous thing to imply. I was able to join a sorority and pay for it myself because it was monthly payments. Maybe by her asking, she can save money to pay. To original poster, it’s monthly payments. First month or so is more expensive with iniatition fees. Also, once a member there are scholarship opportunities through Panhellenic as well as through your sorority. Definitely look into ways to help lessen the cost!
