Competition makes it fun only if it is fairly judged. Parents from the parents club judging a cheer event is crazy ridiculous. A house mom interviewing young women for Queen? Point being is there needs to be qualified judges. It’s only fun for the groups that win time and time again and they are no better than the other groups. All groups have competitive cheerleaders from high school and dancers on dance teams from high school so get judges that can judge. Same thing with banner. Artists and graphic design people need to judge those. Don’t say its all just for charity. If that were the case, people wouldn’t be jumping on here for bragging rights.
