I agree. It is rude and tacky of Chi O to name their date party the same as another sorority, especially when that other sorority has already had a tradition of doing this date party. It’s one thing to name a date party “Chi O Crush” if no other sorority is using it, it’s another thing to name your date party the same name after another sorority already does it on your campus. I remember a few years back when Chi O did “Chi O Camo” and dressed up as hunters and showed up to the exact same location on the exact same night as ADPI’s Mallard Ball (which is camo and hunters too) and that was a big upset for ADPI—which it should have been. It’s almost like Chi O thinks they can steal other sorority’s long standing date party traditions and get away with it. The Chi O Camo may have been unintentional but Chi O Crush is not. Stop being so tacky Chi O. I’m by no means a fan of Phi Mu as a whole, but Chi O makes themselves look like the true mean girls when they pull this crap.
