Why cheapen your appearance with permanent ink? You know it's controversial but you did it anyway? Obviously your parents gave you permission to tattoo yourself since you're still in HS and not 18. So your parents are aware of the stigma attached with female tattoos, especially large visible ones. Hopefully they realize that your candidacy for future jobs are limited so you'll have to choose an alternate degree path. Sorry, most Fortune 500 companies (yes we have them is Mississippi) don't allow tattoos to be visible. Therefore, sororities, if they are doing there job to help you grow into a more diverse, hirable young lady, don't allow tattoos to be visible. Greek life usually isn't for girls that don't conform to some social standards.
