This is very true. In fact, girls who drop a house their freshman year and rush again sophomore year have way less of a chance of getting a bid. If you dropped a house, regardless of the reason why, it looks like you thought you were too good for that house. An incident like that is occurring right now. A girl who bad mouthed the house she got on bid day is rushing again thinking she will for sure get kd, DG, or phi mu this time (because she made a few friends in there) but those houses already cut her once so they will cut her again.
