Every Chapter will be required to get Quota (A certain number of PNMS) based on their chapter total going into recruitment. Big chapters will have a smaller quota, Smaller chapters will have a larger quota. Quota Additions are the members that the chapters receive "extra" above their quota. This is automatically done by panhellenic when making lists after pref for Bid day. There is no list of quota additions or pin pointing that "this pnm was a quota addition". It is just the name they give to the addition numbers received above quota. Nothing that affects PNMS. Once Panhellenic has the bid lists, they get every chapter's total membership. Panhellenic will then set a Campus chapter total, which is usually an average or middle point of all the 8 chapters. All chapters below this campus chapter total are allowed to offer snap bids until they reach that campus total. For example, if Chapter A has 300 and Chapter B has 200, with two chapters The campus chapter total would be 250. Then Chapter B can offer Snap Bids until their membership reaches 250. Snap bids can be offered anytime within a week or so after bid day. Women are only eligible to receive a snap bid if they are released before Pref Night or did not participate in Fall Recruitment. If you are invited back to a Pref Party, then you are guaranteed a bid no matter if you have one or two parties. Also if you receive a bid, you are not eligible to receive another bid for a year.
