@chi omega I agree that the whole chapter will be punished or should be and the actions of a few are placed upon the group. I just don't think it be hugely detrimental to the chapter in the long run. I don't know of any group anywhere who has not been allowed to participate in recruitment. I don't see that happening. Social probation, yes. Most freshmen won't let social probation keep them from pledging a group they want to be part of. College is 4 years not 1. They will be able to attend fraternity parties and will meet guys in ways other than a sorority sponsored social function. I think many people are letting their hate of Chi O get in the way. Top fraternities have been on social probation and it didn't affect their recruitment. I'm trying to look at this without bias and that's how I see it.
