Everyone knows the scores ARE NOT based on the technique of the dancers. Geez get over it! You are way to hung up on technique. As someone above commented the dances are judged on MUCH more than technique. These dances are about entertaining the Dream child and his/her family. Judges look at presentation, how pleasing the entire scene is to watch, how colorful it is, costume, is it easy to follow... Points can also be deducted if certain rules are broken. My freshman year we had a move where one girl flipped another girl. We had points deducted for it. Unattended props can also cause point deductions. If you want scores ask the Derby Daddy for them.
