By younger, you are saying couples with no degrees that married at 20. They can't afford the upper priced homes in Madison so they go to the country of gluckstadt, in the county. Germantown only had 3 National Merit semi-finalists. Madison Central had 15. I'd say MC has a much better academic record. Five Years is plenty of time to establish yourself as a school, especially when the school district spoon-fed teachers to the school and directed the activities until the school could do it. I agree that the students are a little less disciplined than MC kids. It's a mixture of country kids, less educated parents, sports only mind set, and a sense of arrogance due to proximity to Madison. Also, the parents or students don't see anything wrong with their wild ways.
