I said I was specifically talking about how my house, which is considered top 4, works. And I know another top houses works the same way. I can't speak for any other houses. But if I girl goes into rush thinking she will only go top 4 with grades like that she will be sorely disappointed and I would rather prep girls to look at the other houses that are outstanding here instead of dropping out of rush. I also want to prep girls that they may be released because of these things but to keep trying. There are several sororities on campus that can't bid a girl without a rec based on national policy, but some can. My sorority can't, so if we like you enough we MAY find one for you, but probably not. I'd rather be open about the process with PNMs now then have more quit rush over false expectations.
